About Sharing Circles
Sharing Circles are a great way to reflect on different topics of our daily life, the past, present, and future. Participants will be able to express their points of view, experiences, thoughts and feelings, without criticism or judgment from others. The group learns from the individual, and the individual learns from the group, thus promoting a sense of community and growth!
Respect is the highest value in the sharing circles. What is said in the circle should stay in the circle for the privacy of those participating.
The circle is not a replacement for professional counselling or therapy. However, participants may gain some benefits through being able to share their story with others. Participants do not have to be Aboriginal to attend. All ages welcome at the 1:00pm session. Youth 15- 25 will also have a session dedicated to them at 3:00pm.
